Success factors and pitfalls in TBT-related development cooperation

2017-11-21

In a new report, the National Board of Trade Sweden evaluates its development cooperation and technical assistance activities in the field of Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) for the last ten years. The evaluation maps out both success factors and pitfalls in developing effective and sustainable TBT capacity building.

The findings have also been commented by other Donors: the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in the U.S., the National Metrology Institute of Germany (Physikalisch-Technische BundesanstaltPTB) and Standards Council of Canada (SCC) in Canada, all prominent donors in their field.

The findings presented in this report form part of a continuous process to ensure that the National Board of Trade delivers technical assistance that serves its purpose and helps our Cooperation Partners to fulfil their objective, of fully participating in international trade.
